Mystic Roots - "Chico Style"
listing, lyrics, downloads, more) Stay Positive Productions
Mystic Roots' first album. The show was recorded live
in Chico in late 1997. It captured the band's new sound
where it sounded best, smack dab in Chico at a Mystic
Roots party. Although all but two of the band members
have changed from this original line-up, this is a good
chance to hear some classic Mystic Roots tunes and covers
in the early stages. After selling out the original batch,
this disc was not available for many years. A re-release
is in the works and will be available again soon.

Various - "Chico City Limits"
City Limits Records
track listing and downloads)
This CD, released in 1998, features many powerful Chico
bands. Mystic Roots' contribution to this collection was
a rendition of a classic Peter Tosh tune entitled "Reggae
Mylitis". After spicing it up with a horn section
and some patented cootdog hip-hop, Mystic Roots gives
you "Mystic Mylitis". This is the only place
currently where this song, a favorite at concerts, is
available.
